Abstract On the basis of a principle balanced life the problem by definition of the optimum form of cross section of the elastic inclusions (fibres), provided decrease in concentration of stresses in a bent plate is solved. The found form of cross-section section of fibres provides increase of bearing ability of a compound plate.
