Abstract

The design features of experimental equipments for evaluation tribological properties of antifriction materials of orbiting vehicles carried out under the space programs Luna-4, EuTEF and MISSE-7 were discussed. The schemes and the technical specifications of the devices used or planned for use in studies of wear and friction of materials in open space are presented.
