Abstract The analysis of features of work of a tooth gearing taking into account changing position of axes of cogwheels is given. Possibilities of longitudinal updating for maintenance of a demanded stain of contact are considered. The basic settlement dependences for definition of parametres of longitudinal updating and calculation examples are resulted.
