Abstract

Multicomponent clamp-knife-base system of cutting instrument of a harvester is considered. Stress-strain and damage states of the system are calculated in two-dimensional statement. Both the cutting force and contact interaction between the elements of the system were taken into account. Significant influence of knife’s material on its damage and influence of cutting force on contact tractions distribution are shown.
