Abstract

We give a mathematical description of the peripheral force in dependence on the belt pretension force and from other parameters for two various belt tension diagrams in a V-belt drive: a rigid tension at the expense of the drive components elasticity and a belt tension by a spring pulley. We made a comparative analysis of belt pretension effect force and other parameters per a magnitude of critical peripheral force for two observed diagrams of the belt tension. Distinctive features and advantages of various diagrams of the tension are formulated here.
