Abstract

The static biomechanical model of the reconstructed middle ear in the case of tympanoplasty and installation of the PORP type prosthesis replacing the "malleus-incus" chain is proposed. The case when the "large island" technique is applied for the reconstruction of the tympanic membrane is considered. The proposed model is meant for the calculation of the strain-stress state of the reconstructed middle ear after placing prosthesis.
