Abstract | This paper is a part of the series of works which are devoted to development of analytical and experimental methods to estimate the physical and mechanical properties of biomaterials and biostructures. Proposed methods are designed on the basis of nanoindentation and atomic force microscopy (AFM). Modification of the Crick’s algorithm for solving the contact problem for conical types of probe with spherical base was proposed. Sneddon’s solution was used to determine the value of the elastic modulus. Obtained algorithm was examined to determine the elastic modulus of erythrocytes of patients before and after treatment of acute coronary syndrome.
Keywords | modification of the Crick’s algorithm, Sneddon’s solution, physic-mechanical characteristics of biomaterials, models of contact mechanics for the nanoindentation processes
