Abstract | We give an overview of the analytical article devoted to the results of the complex of innovative research on the creation of a new structural material - steel cast iron VCHTG with mechanical properties like thermostrengthened steel, and technological and service properties characteristic of ductile cast iron with nodular graphite (two in one). Concrete examples of its high efficiency for making critical, massive and heavy-loaded pats of modern machinery and equipment - Tribo-Fatigue systems (TFS). Are presented the basic lines of further investigation on the mechanics of the TFS as a scientific basis for solution of urgent practical problems of import replacement and increase of their competitive ability are shown. | ||||
