Abstract |
The paper presents a schematic diagram of the mechatronic control system of the electromagnetic powder brake (PET), which is part of the test complex as a resistance simulator for studying transient process in the truck automated transmission. The soft-hardware platform of the control system has a CAN interface that allows connecting to the local electronic network for information exchange with other CAN modules via the SAE J1939 high-level protocol. The strategy of the PET braking torque control based on the PWM-signal with feedback on the dynamometric bridge deformation and the electromagnetic powder brake control algorithm in automatic mode of the power unit operation are described. The operation modeling result of the PET electronic control system based on a transistor switch and the oscillograms of the braking torque depending on the control signal are presented.
