Abstract

Driver's assistant conception is presented for critical situations, which is based on usage of dynamic interaction of different vehicle subsystems. Brake Assistant classification is presented, which covers existing and perspective directions of brake assistant development. Conception of the Brake-Transmission Master Assistance (BTMA) is suggested. This assistant is based on the transmission gears switching "down" and usage of its frictional elements. This allows unloading the basic brake system. Thus, temperature heating, brake pressure levels, hysteresis losses are decreased. As a result the higher brake efficiency is secured.
