Abstract |
The review of parallel hybrid power unit configurations is presented and selection of a two-shifted configuration of a parallel hybrid power unit for middle-load truck for urban conditions is grounded. A power flow management strategy for the hybrid power unit implementing optimization of management of the hybrid power unit basic elements according to criteria of fuel consumption minimization is formulated. Comparative simulation of the hybrid electric truck with MATLAB/Simulink software in order with European urban drive cycle is carried. Results of the simulation give an opportunity to appraise the effectiveness of the hybrid power unit controllers. The advantages of the power flow management algorithm are shown. Introduced system can be used in projecting the hybrid electric vehicles on a basis of native producers` assays. |
