Abstract

Basic concepts of Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) are shown. The main types of HEV systems and their characteristics are presented in the paper, as well as the key technologies applied to HEV, and the current situations are pointed out also. The development and future outlook of HEV are analyzed in this article. The control strategies and software for modeling and simulation of HEV are also introduced briefly.
