Abstract Features of braking of multilink trucks are considered. It is established that for increase of trucks efficiency it is expedient to provide the distribution of brake forces of the wheels providing both safe braking and maximum recuperation with stores of brake energy. To increase stability and folding prevention at braking it is offered to create in the multilink trucks some "stretching" effect between links. The algorithm of control brake system of the multilink trucks in a mode of operating braking is offered. According to it in an initial stage of braking for creation of "stretching" effect the given distribution of brake efforts between links should be carried out.
