Abstract |
A molecular dynamics study of mechanical behavior of CCS crystallites under dynamic loading. It is shown that thermal fluctuations cause the generation of structural defects, and there is a certain threshold value of deformation, in which structural defects are beginning to be generated discontinuously. |

Abstract |
The present paper is devoted to investigation of vibrations of orthotropic cylindrical shells filled by flowing liquid in infinitely elastic medium. Complementing of equations of motion of orthotropic cylindrical shell, medium and liquid by contact conditions, we get a frequency equation for finding of naturalvibration frequency of shell in an infinite medium filled by flowing liquid. Influences of liquid flow rate and inertia properties of medium on naturalvibration frequency of the construction under consideration are investigated. |

Abstract |
The radial natural vibrations of the threelayered cylindrical shell are considered. Kirchhoff-Love`s hypotheses are accepted for the thin isotropic bearing layers. The work of the inplane shear, compression over thickness and variations in displacements are taken linear along the transverse coordinate for the thick filler the conditions of displacement continuity are not used on the contact boundaries. The deformations are small. The investigation of variations in natural frequencies of a cylindrical shell as dependent on the wave parameter is given as an example. |

Abstract |
Gear adaptive stepless transfer can be created in the form of a kinematic chain with two degrees of freedom having a mobile closed loop which consists of cogwheels. The closed loop imposes constraint on motion of links and transforms a kinematic chain into the mechanism with one input. Such mechanism gets property of automatic adaptation to variable technological loading. Laws of interrelation of force and kinematic parameters are resulted. The design of gear adaptive transfer is presented. |
