| Abstract | The present publication reveals the design method of matching the engine characteristics with kinematic parameters of transmission with purpose to improve traction properties and fuel efficiency of the highway truck train. The sense of this method is to use the matched multi-parametrical engine characteristic, the engine load applied from road, traction characteristics and the efficiency of truck train. The version of KAMAZ train developed on basis of calculated results and suggestions revealed 15...18 % decrease of fuel consumption, as compared with basic model, with higher up to 6...8 % travel speed. |
