Abstract

There has been shown the existence of nano-adhesion effect in the disperse-filled polymer nanocomposites, which significantly influences the decrease of thermal expansion coefficient and the increase of elasticity modulus. The degree of nanocomposites' reinforcement has been stated to be influenced by the properties of polymer matrix, nanofiller and the degree of interphase adhesion.

Keywords

nano-adhesion effect, disperse-filled polymer nanocomposites, thermal expansion coefficient
