Abstract

In the paper a design procedure of cohesive strength of a continuous rod with a coating at a collision with a stone is presented. The design procedure is grounded on the generalized Hooke's law. The Lame problem with conditions of displacements equality on boundary line of dissimilar materials of the coating and substrate has been solved.
