Abstract |
The analytical solution of approximate natural frequencies for the free vibration of cylindrical shells of GFRP (glass fiber reinforced plastic) with Navier boundary conditions is presented using the RayleighRitz method, while the winding angle varies. Frequency variations for different vibration modes with certain shell`s geometrical parameters are discussed. The effect of shell`s geometrical parameters is also investigated on natural frequencies. |
