Abstract |
The foundations of a new engineering approach to the calculation and experimental evaluation of the cyclic crack resistance of ductile steels, based on the measurement of local plastic deformation of the dangerous section of the sample in the vicinity of the crack and the construction of cyclic elastic-plastic fracture diagram set out. The results of tests on the cyclic crack growth resistance of a compact specimens cut from the pipe line sections of the pipeline after long operation are analyzed. The experimental values of characteristics of resistance of sliding and mechano-sliding fatigue of a cylindrical specimen of steel 0,45 % carbon steel with a diameter of 10 mm - liner in the form of partial conterbody of siluminum active system are received in the main rotational motion in cantilever bending are presented. |

Abstract |
The compression of the cross section of prepreg threads is carried out in conjunction with stretching of the second thread family. In the first stage it is inelastically consolidated, an irreversible compression takes place. The second stage of thread family compression is characterized by elastic deformations only. The established relationships between the relative deformation of compression and compression force are linear and reflect not only the thread material properties but the structural features of the textile too. |

Abstract |
The problem of security of conveyances by a railway rolling stock in Republic of Belarus and the basic ways of its solution is observed. It is specified, that working capacity maintenance, improvement of park of carriages by conducting of capitally-regenerative works with life extension are effective enough solutions of the specified problem along with development of car-building manufacture in republic. The effective scientific basis of working out of competitive designs of carriages is offered and instances of its implementation at the car-repair and car-building factories are resulted. Importance of development of test baseline of a railway rolling stock in Republic of Belarus is underlined. |

Abstract |
Classical development and the formation of some new modern branches in mechanics require continuous improvement and modification of mathematical models and methods to solve the model problems. In this article we consider some developments in mechanics and mathematical models for the description of the mechanical state and different material behaviour and perspectives of fractional calculus for the use in mechanics, and describe the conjugate biophysical and biomechanical problems, the mathematical models of material deformation taking into account their complex heterogeneous structure. |
