Abstract |
A method for solving the two-dimensional stationary problem of thermoelasticity for multilayer foundations. The upper boundary of the temperature and pressure are described by periodic functions. At the lower boundary temperature and displacement zero. On the common boundary layers of the conditions of continuity of the temperature field and the equality of heat fluxes. The desired function in each layer are written in the form of Fourier series. To ensure the fulfillment of the conditions at the common borders layers of a modification of the method of compliance matrices. An algorithm for solving the problem. It is shown that the method gives the exact solution of the problem for any finite number of layers. According to the results of theoretical studies, numerical experiments. Formulate conclusions concerning the identified thermoelastic effects. |

Abstract |
We give a mathematical description of the peripheral force in dependence on the belt pretension force and from other parameters for two various belt tension diagrams in a V-belt drive: a rigid tension at the expense of the drive components elasticity and a belt tension by a spring pulley. We made a comparative analysis of belt pretension effect force and other parameters per a magnitude of critical peripheral force for two observed diagrams of the belt tension. Distinctive features and advantages of various diagrams of the tension are formulated here. |

Abstract |
The brake force implemented in braking a freight car shall not exceed the traction of the wheel and rail. It depends on the car loading and is limited by the maximum pressing force which is permissible for the brake shoes. The control characteristics of the automatic regulator of braking modes (automatic mode) is the dependence of the pressure in the brake cylinder of the car on its axial load. The pressure, continuously controled in automatic mode, is limited by the air diffuser, which carries out only step changes in pressure in the brake cylinder, depending on the load. The technique and actual results of calculation of the rational dependence of the pressure in the brake cylinders on the car loading are presented. Optimum control, allowing to reach the maximum braking efficiency and most favorable mode in the longitudinal dynamics of the train is observed at equal specific braking forces of cars with different axial loads. In the case with one-sided pressing of the brake shoes on the wheel due to restrictions in strength and thermal mode of the friction site optimization is possible for cars with an axial load up to 18 t / axle, with two-sided-in the entire load range. |

Abstract |
This article finishes publication of results of high-power hydromechanical transmissions investigation. The first and the second parts were published in previous editions of journal. In this part gearboxes with four and more degrees of freedomareanalyzed with the use of methods of calculation from the first part and indicators of compactness and loading from the second part of the work. Allison, Caterpillar, Komatsu and General Motorshigh power transmissions are observed. The latest patented gearboxes of Zahnradfabrik, Hyundai, Jatco, Aisin AW and Volvo for trucks and passenger vehicles are presented. Relations between compactness, number of degrees of freedom, configuration and loading of gearboxes are shown. A task of obtaining a gearbox with minimal loading is formulated and an example of such gearbox is given. General conclusions on results of analyzing of gearboxes with three and four degrees of freedom and methods of investigation are presented. |
