Abstract |
In accordance with the classical courses "The Theory of Machinery and Machines" and "Machine Parts" for the purpose of simplifying engineering calculations it is adopted to determine total frictional losses in frictional pair without taking into account molecular coupling forces. In the paper by the examples of the existing experimental researches it is show, that the application of such simplified calculation model contradicts the known Amontons-Coulomb Law and results in erroneous representation of the experimental results. |

Abstract |
The numerical simulation of the interaction between the probe of atomic force microscope and biological cell using finite element contact model was done. The magnitudes of the stress and strain arising during the indentation of the probe into the red blood cells were defined. The cell was considered as a homogeneous elastic body and as hyperelastic body, consisting of the shell and the internal contents. The results of simulation were compared with the analytical solution of the Hertz contact problem. |

Abstract |
The operation purpose is the experimental research of damage`s regularities for a meta-lto-metal active system at sliding and mechano-sliding fatigue tests. In the report the test technique is given. Experimental values of characteristics of resistance of sliding and mechano-sliding fatigue of an examined active system are received. The tests results analysis is given. New regularities of a back effect for mechano-sliding fatigue of the 0,45% carbon steel-siluminum active systems are found. |
